Norse was following closely when she was suddenly snatched away.
"Alredan!" he screamed, and ran into the alley where she was being dragged. He saw her go limp, and then the assailant turned with her over his shoulder and ran. Screaming Norse sprinted after him, but the kidnapper was too fast. As Norse sailed down alleys and around corners the distance between them grew. Soon the figure vanished into the semi-darkness. Norse barreled around a corner and skidded to a stop.
